Downtown does not get regular garbage pickups like it should. Heck, last summer, the CBD went 2 straight months without a garbage pickup. The trash was literally piled up everywhere like in movies set during NYC’s sanitation strike.

Dr Rosenrosen,
Even if prosecutors prosecuted appropriately, is there even prison space to keep the riff raff off the streets?
There is no political will in Louisiana, or most states to build more prisons.
Obligatory- Bring me the White Album and the head of Alfredo Garcia.

Fundamental change was promised and delivered. The only ones I see happy are the drag queen dancers.

Or maybe that was her experience.
Just because it’s not the same as yours doesn’t mean it’s “dramatic” in nature.
When I was sent to the middle east on business, I was threatened and treated horrifically: my male colleagues were not.

How was Galatoire’s?
That is my favorite reason for going to the French Quarter.

Grats on officially becoming old.

I went to the FQ over 20 years ago on a school trip, I thought it was a third world shite hole then. Haven't darkened a doorway there since, what a terrible place.

They used to clean the streets and my babies were safe walking around with a stroller.

Agree Bourbon is disgusting. It has always been disgusting, some years more than others. But to say the rest of the city is uninhabitable reeks of rural LA tourist bias.
