It’s just common sense reform. Pack the Supreme Court, abolish the Senate, open borders, transgender everything, DEI, etc… If only Republicans were more open minded.

I would like to see the 17th amendment abolished and go back to legislators appointing senators.

These are not serious people. Not sure why anyone gives them a platform to speak.

100%.

By moving to direct election, we've invalidated the role of the Senate - to be the voice of the states - while the House was the voice of the people.

Good luck getting a constitutional amendment passed for anything these days. No way you get a supermajority in both houses and state legs pass as well

How do you abolish something that's literally called for in the Constitution?

A constitutional amendment. And that isn’t going to happen in this political environment

You could not be more wrong. You all need to wake up. The DSA is taking over the DEM party with these type of people. They just unseated 2 Dem incumbents. That means people are voting for them over the Dem that's been in office.

As of now, they have roughly 260 members elected. They are looking at tripling their numbers in congress alone. They are about to add a Senate seat. In all they have 25 people endorsed for congress alone.

NPR, Guardian, Politico, etc. describes this as DSA’s strongest primary season yet, with momentum from New York sweeps, Colorado, and other races.

And the issue is PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR THEM. That should scare the hell out of you and everyone in this room. It should motivate you going into this primary/general election.

They, the DSA, are motivate to do things and the voters for them are. WE, on the other hand, are laughing and saying things like "They are a joke".. "Make them the face of the party".....etc.

Wake up.

Pretty soon the moderate Dems aren't putting up with it anymore and moving over.

Don’t have a problem with this. Senate hasn’t done anything. Pretty sure we can just have some Congressmen send strongly worded letters in their place.
