Exactly. Dumb down well-meaning (well-meaning as in teaching their kids to be colorblind and striving for good schools) white people, and ignore actual problems in the black community.
That, in turn, begs the question: why? To blatantly attack one group without trying to improve the group that actually needs help.
1) fear of being labeled a racist for suggesting there are problems in the black community?
2) hatred towards white?
3) desire to keep the black community impoverished?

That opinion piece mainly references this one book by Margaret Hagerman, a sociology professor at Mississippi State (her CV is at the link).
Without knowing anything else about her pre-academic background or financial aid/scholarships she may have gotten, she seems pretty guilty about her "privilege." I mean, she must be after attending two private universities in Lehigh (bachelor's and master's) and Emory (Ph.D.). These are universities that have tuition in the $40k+ a year to attend.
Her parents must be terrible racists to try to push her to those heights. (Again, making the assumption that her background is that of a two-parent household and whatnot.)
I'm beginning to devalue the humanities more and more in academia.

I don't even know what that means. Seriously I can understand quantum physics better than I can understand whatever the hell these people are coming up with nowadays.
On another level, I think the progs are trying to keep you off-balance 24/7 by never letting you feel at ease about who you are, regardless of who you are. There is no answer that will satisfy them, therefore they are in control of your life - that is of course if you acknowledge them and give them the time of day. When will we start simply ignoring them? Nothing will quiet a barking dog.

Well meaning white parenting is a disease. Qe need to raise our children like the heroes in inner city Baltimore and Detroit. The epicenter of responsible, modern parenting.

We are going to have to fight for our lives when these people get enough power. They will have us in ovens and we let this happen to our country. We let them come here and take our country, the nation our fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers built. They came here and stole our nation away while Jews in the media convinced us it was all our fault and our nation, thus our fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers were all bad people and built a bad nation. We lost our country trying to be fair and open minded and they stole it from under our nose.
