Lolz. Note that nothing is shown to scale.

Right. And a skeptical person (or anyone with a brain) would wonder why something that caused such a stir, doesn't have a clear photo, with something for scale in it. The FBI was involved, anyone who has ever tried to document something will include an object for scale.

One might even say this picture looks deliberately misleading. Framing the truck in the background makes it look big. But that sure looks like the garage track to the right - it's at an angle, but those are only ~ 3 " from front/back, so that loop is really just hand sized, maybe 6" from loop top/bottom?

Its clearly not the same rope and knot. The only reason they released a picture was because everyone figured it was a hoax.

I still haven't even figured out why the cops and fbi were involved and who actually reported this?

Its a PR stunt.

I'd believe it more if the "noose" was actually in an area that wouldn't be where the door pull was.

They don’t show the bottom of the door

The whole thing makes no sense.

Hey look, the rope we've been pulling for 2 days was made to look like a noose. So, we call the cops/fbi?

Let's go way, way out on a limb, just as a thought experiment, and assume this was the work of racists.

If this is the sort of "racism" that draws the attention of an entire country, I think blacks can rest easy here.

These "racists" decided to make something that looks sort of like a tiny noose, and put it where other ropes are tied in a way that doesn't look all that different, and maybe not even noticed? And they hang it in a place where almost no black people are expected to be?

And, this sort of "racism" is so rare, that even this little 'event' becomes BIG news! Sounds like a great time to be a black in America!

I guess this child's game is to be cancelled:

Its a hoax, even if it wasn't a hoax... big fricking deal.

You have groups clearly targeting white people in the inner city for violence, and someone is worried about a noose?

Shouldn’t the end of the top be popping out the other way then?

Realistically the truth as always lies in the middle.

This looks like a fricking noose. His team was hypersensitive and jumped at what looked like a noose.

It’s not true that someone planted a noose to interminable or harass Wallace and it is not true that Wallace completely made this up/planted it himself.

That rope looks brand new. No way that rope has been in Alabama weather over a year. I mean, look at the end of it. It's not frailed at all.

This isn’t the same rope that was in the garage. NASCAR is lying.

That’s not even the same garage door. There’s a wall in that photo separating the next garage. The other photo has no wall between the two garages.

No date stamp on the photo they could have taken it today for all we know.

The rope is attached to a garage door at a race track. Photos show that the loop in the rope was there in 2019. They work on cars in a garage, get their hands dirty, and open the door to bring cars in and out or to help cool the garage. Does that rope look like it has ever been touched by a greasy hand? It's so pristine, I don't think anyone with greasy hands has even looked at it, let alone used it to close the garage door.

Well, on the View, he said he never saw the “noose”.

Perhaps instead of running to the press his team should have walked their asses over to the facility manager and inquired about the loop knot.

You people...

Annnnd....

No one tied a hangman’s knot for a door pull. It would fricking pinch your hand and you’d have to loosen up after every use.

No, the truth probably isn't in the middle.

1. that doesn't look like the same rope and knot, not at all... its clearly something different and looks new
2. regardless, even if it was a noose and someone thought it was meant for racist Bubba... why would anyone call the cops and fbi over a freaking noose?
3. who called the fbi and cops over a garage rope pull?
4. why are 15 fbi agents involved in a freaking noose investigation anyway?

We all know this was a hoax pr stunt, this is just the next silly step of it.

What bubba has done is a series of race baiting that has gone on for weeks, than he basically calls anyone that disputes what he himself doesn't know as simple minded and implies they're racists.

He has done this to himself, that is the truth.

Notice how zoomed in the camera is on the rope? It is a small diameter garage door rope and they zoomed in on it to make it look dangerous. Not very much integrity there...
