I can continue to cringe at has mannerisms and narcissistic tendencies and still not want him as a son-in-law or neighbor - all while giving thanks that he was there for the time he was, and wishing he were there right now and hoping he still gets back there to earn his spot on Mt Rushmore.
His agenda was the most in line with the founding principles of this nation than any POTUS in my memory - going back to FDR (8 yrs old when he died so my political memory is based on reputation) - and certainly more 'free of racism' than any other candidate.
