Though, it’s going to be a legal fight that may drag out until past the election, so no appointment of any kind.
So yes the state legislature past a law that would have him pick out of 3 of the leading parties choices.
But he is going to say their Constitution gives him the right to appoint state wide offices. So it’ll come down to if the federal senate seat is a “state wide” seat or not.
I’m going to assume if it does, then their Constitution beats out the law.
Disclaimer: this is my basic understanding of what Bashear is chomping at the bit for. May be mistaken somewhere. Don’t shoot the messenger.

There were several "legitimate" X accounts claiming that photo of Mitch was from 2023 and blatantly digitally altered through AI to include the newspaper. Grok even said the image was from 2023 and digitally altered through AI. Were they full of shite?
I would think major news sources would be reporting on it if Turtle's team got caught trying to blatantly pass off an altered "proof of life" photo on their official account.
It's one of those things that seem just legitimate enough to question whether it's real or not in this age of AI and fake news for engagement

Conservative Christians still have that one ace up their sleeve to give us a boost when it comes to keeping USA from imploding...... God. I hate so say it, but McConnell wasn't America first, his absence should be a net positive for the country, although Kentucky doesn't have the best reack record when it comes to electing leaders.
And he still isn't gone yet. We're talking about a sitting US senator and nobody can get a confirmation on whether or not he is alive? How about the senate says you have 48 hours to give us incontrovertible proof of life or we're vacating your seat?

IMO, President Trump has known about ChiCom interferring in our elections for a long time. I recall towards the end of his first term President Trump kicked a whole slew of Chinese diplomats in their Houston consulate out of the country. I remember video of ChiCom diplomats frantically burning pages and pages of documents in the back of their consulate. Why were those ChiCom diplomats panicking?
But it was too late. The fix to torpedo his administration was already in.
People conveniently forget that the Covid-19 virus was a weaponized version of a Bat SARS Virus.
