I can remember a time when doctors would hold press conferences when politicians and other celebrities were hospitalized. But not for Mitch.
Why is there ZERO information about Mitch’s status? Congress is in session!

But he is going to say their Constitution gives him the right to appoint state wide offices. So it’ll come down to if the federal senate seat is a “state wide” seat or not. I’m going to assume if it does, then their Constitution beats out the law.
I’m going to say that while a US senator is elected in a statewide election, it is not a statewide office. For example, on paper, John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy have as much legal authority in Hawaii or Texas as they do in Louisiana. While they certainly have power and influence here, they have no legal authority in the state, like the governor, Lt. governor, etc. do. Also, their paychecks come from the federal treasury, not Louisiana’s, right? For purposes of this discussion, I’m taking your comment at face value, but I’d like to see exactly how the constitutional provision is written. I’d also like to see what power their governor has to appoint US reps. But I’m too lazy to research either on a Saturday afternoon.

This is old news. Beshear is a leftist democrat posing as a moderate. He is explaining his inquiry earlier in the month we all had.
It's obviously not new, you frickin retard. But the article in the OP was out yesterday and the interview with Couric from the day before.
Just because the inquiry happened earlier in the month doesn't mean the news isn't new.
Just how frickin stupid are you anyways?
And if you want to complain about being called names, quit posting shite like the following:

Did I say anything of the sort? No. So frick off and learn to post with some semblance of honesty.
