How do you know it was a by the books pat down? Did you afford LEO this benefit of the doubt in other high profile investigations?

How do you know it wasn't? Thats why I said call me skeptical. I do find it so telling to see when the new all of the sudden becomes not fake.
Here's an idea for you though. Ya'll might think about white knighting for someone other than a piece of shite traitor like Manafort who is justifiably going to be in jail for a long time. I know ya'll get SO fricking salty over Muh Russians, but it sometimes clouds your judgement.

I never lose my shite over that. A close friend of mine was a Sheriffs deputy and on the SWAT team for years. I am a big supporter of cops and have defended them on this forum back in the pre-Trump days when dog shooting cops was a thing and they were hated.
Not getting shot or pavement slammed is a pretty simple matter. Comply. These officers have to consider you a threat until you're proven to pose them no danger. They want to go home to their families. Its just an unfortunate reality due to the frequency at which they have to deal with the worst people in our society.
