I ran across this info yesterday, but didn't have anything to corroborate it so I didn't bring it to the board. But this morning I saw the graphic again except with screenshots from LinkedIn showing who these folks are and decided to share.

The story goes that someone is going to quit their job as a sales rep for Wayfair because of these trafficking allegations. They allege that Wayfair has a "platinum" team that handles these high priced transactions. And that when a call comes in from one of the "platinum" members, the regular reps aren't allowed to handle those calls under any circumstances. Those go straight to these platinum members and this person believes it's these particular people who handle those transactions that deal with missing children.

^^ when someone orders a 10,000 dollar throw pillow it's those folks there who handle those transactions.

ETA: apparently Ellen DeGeneres has been implicated in this thing. There is an article up on Fox news about her being confronted over having a "five figure" pillow that actually sells for far less than that.

quote:

llen DeGeneres has been roped into a conspiracy theory that accuses Wayfair of acting as a front for human trafficking by selling pricey cabinets named after people.

The talk show celebrity was questioned on Twitter for her Wayfair collection that allegedly included a five-figure pillow but really sells for far less. Social media users questioned the talk show host and if she had any involvement with the alleged child trafficking conspiracy theory

May not be children but SOMETHING is being trafficked if they are charging $10K for a fricking throw pillow.

This entire Wayfair trend seems like one big head fake to get all the conspiracy theorists off the real shite going on out there.

Nope. Wayfair issued a statement on all of that stuff yesterday. They said they didn't do a good enough job explaining why the price points on those particular items were so high. So they have "temporarily" taken those items off the marketplace and will, in the future, do a better job explaining why those prices were so high.

They didn't even deny it.

Can you not read? This thread has nothing to do with Tom Hanks. Would you mind sticking to the topic? Otherwise, would you kindly shut the frick up? Thanks.

It's clear Tom Hanks has some incriminating evidence he's holding against you to ensure your silence.

Smart enough to know there's no real evidence so pretending it is absurd and a weird coinkee-dink is the best strategy if true or not true. You'll never really be able to tell the difference.

Devil's advocate: Maybe, just maybe, they used the absurd prices as place holders like they said, then started removing them when they began being accused of human trafficking? Don't you think that's a bad look even if it isn't true? I'd take that shite down in a heartbeat too.

I thought it was strange when I saw patio furniture, some throw pillows, and a sex slave in my cart. Wayfair just trying to beat amazon as the one stop shop....

Yeah, but you're talking about items that are identical to other items they sell on their site with normal price points. And they had the names of missing children tagged on to the item's name. I understand you are just making a point for the sake of discussion, but I don't buy it. This shite all came out just days after they arrested a notorious human trafficker in Ghislaine Maxwell who explicitly has stated (at least to her associates) that if they take her down she is going to take down the entire network.

I'm nearly certain that Maxwell spilled the beans on Wayfair and they're actually trafficking missing children.

I'm all for trying to get to the bottom of this strange allegation at Wayfair, but I'm not a fan of plastering these folks all over the internet as if to confirm that they're actively involved in child trafficking.

We've seen how well internet detectives "outing" people has worked when it involved the Boston bombers, cops involved in shootings, etc.

I mean, these people are now going to be accused of CHILD TRAFFICKING and expected to answer for their crimes all because of some anonymous claim that really has no proof. Super fricked up if you ask me.

There is something to all of this... but the twitter threadreader famewhore types are shopping a Q on Melania's dress; and a child with tape on their mouth in a backpack (When searching the original backpack has no child) can ruin any real research/exposure into this...

At the very least I believe they were allowing some kind of money laundering or drug trafficking to happen through their store. I say this because I've read some of the things the "warehouse" guys said, and it sounds way more like money or drugs. They mention extremely heavy items, and they weren't allowed to open them. -- the thing is, the second you add a live being into the mix, there are a thousand new variables that you can't account for and using regular warehouse workers to move those items would be an EXTREMELY stupid way of doing it.

If they were / are doing child trafficking - the normal warehouse guys never saw those shipments, similar to how we are now seeing there was a special business team specifically for those high end purchases.

ETA: For the most part I haven't believed any of the Q stuff to this point - but this Wayfair story actually has smoke, and teeth, I actually think there is at the very least SOME truth to what is being uncovered.

Just like how the mob uses restaurants and bars as a front for their illicit businesses. Tale as old as time. The guys working in the front never mingle with the guys working in the back, so they can't know anything when the time comes.

Maybe you missed the part in the graphic where the person says, "I don't know if they're trafficking children, but I thought I would point that bit of info out."

I only bring it to the board because apparently workers within the company itself find it fishy. And "plastering them all over the internet?" Those are public profiles. If they don't like the heat, they should get out of the kitchen. Tell us what's going on and explain it satisfactorily. Otherwise, it looks pretty damn suspicious. We are talking about a company selling a 10,000 dollar throw pillow that just happened to have the same name as a missing child.

I could believe that they were trafficking all those things. I can't write off the human trafficking because they had the damn names of missing children tagged on to these items.

In fact, the redditor who initially brought all of this to light actually made a video of herself trying to order one of these very expensive pillows and when she got to the point where she was going to start putting in credit card information the form had autofilled in the name of the child she was going to be purchasing. First and last name.

Interesting.....UTAH!!! Possibly another mormon connection? It seems there was some smoke to the mormons killed in mexico a while back that they were tied to human trafficking.
