quote:at all? Sophistry and horseshite. Women initiate 80% of divorces and men get totally screwed in family court. We don't tolerate debtors prisons anymore except for child support. Poor you.
Women are not supported at all after they have a baby in most of the country

Does this help you feel better about yourself?
I'm not making a personal argument here, this is a statement about society at large. This isn't a laundry list of personal grievances.

How does society support post-partum women?

Someone legitimately feeling they are socially devalued due to immutable characteristics (whatever that involves) is worrisome though. Contact ... if you feel the need to take it off the board. Just let me know, because I don't routinely check those.
This board is not where you will be able to convince a woman that society values her.

Exactly.

Society didn’t value them either. It’s definitely not a new phenomenon.

I’m saying societal structures in place exploit women. Women are expected to sacrifice and serve. Women are expected to be the primary caregivers of their children but are often penalized if performing those duties interferes with working outside of the home. Women-dominated professions are mocked and ridiculed. Women are disparaged for being ambitious or assertive.
This isn’t about individuals resenting their mothers.

We live in a feminized society where women are depicted as the all knowing bosses in any pop culture setting.
When is the last time you saw a movie depicting a woman abusing a man? (Never)
When is the last time you saw a movie depicting a woman committing adultery and ruining her family? (Almost never, even though women initiate 80% of all divorces)
Why do ads feature fat women but never feature fat men? (So that women feel good about themselves, and ‘body positivity’ only applies to women)
Speaking of movies, how many times have you seen a 98lb. ‘hero’ woman beat up a villain 200lb man? (In reality Black Widow would get her brains beaten out)
The NFL celebrates Breast Cancer Month…why not Prostate Cancer Month?
Why don’t I ever see women digging holes or working on sewer systems to make more money? (There is a ‘pay gap’ right?)
Why aren’t women lobbying to be included in the military draft in the US?
FTR - I love being with women.

Let some conservative woman be even a little chubby and that shite goes out the window.
Hell, after the Sweeney Jeans ad, there were tons of posts showing her without make up and shitting on here.
Liberals don't even really believe in THEIR OWN stated principles.

Women mock/ridicule blue-collar working men even when those same men earn more than they do. It's hilarious how dumb you are.

You're correct. But, a note for your information.
The word you were looking for is Tenet. Not Tenant.

Men who post here ridicule janitors pretty regularly.

Uhh not in conservative houses.
I dont think any conservative dude here is making his wife sacrifice anything.
Is he holding her back from her life long dream of making PowerPoint for a soulless international conglomerate by making her spend all day with her children she loves?

Are you saying people need to live on one salary?
Rather traditional of you.
I'm sure your husband would love to stay home, I would, most men would.

Every person who isn't good at their job is disparaged for being ambitious.
If a woman is good she gets respect.

Literally in just this past week, in a discussion about education and student loan debt, a man brought up that he was making good money after choosing to be a plumber and incurring no debt. IMMEDIATELY, another woman responded by saying she "makes 90K sitting in air condition and it was too bad that was apparently too stupid to get educated enough to do the same.
He responded that he loved his work and, he made more than 90K which was immediately followed by DOZENS of women shitting on him saying his money was meaningless because they would never be with an "uneducated" man.
You need to get out more.
