I think it does. Her ideology is dangerous. She found out the hard way. Just like those kids cycling through ISIS country. These kids are so naive.
Pretty big difference. Let’s see if you can spot it.
ETA: Can’t equate cycling through a dangerous part of the world to going for a jog in your hometown.

He claimed he blacked out during whatever he did to her and he came to and saw headphones/earpieces in his lap in the car and realized she was in his trunk. He opened the trunk and she was there with blood on the side of her head.
"Blacked out" is his excuse? Pretty flimsy and anyone could pick that one apart.

Absolutely, add another 10 feet to the height, too.

Of course. It will be picked apart. The evidence seems very sound. He will not be getting out of jail.

Well, maybe he can say he didn’t intend to kill her, but did. I believe this is a verified defense since July 2016

If this happened in New York Cuomo would have pardoned him by now.

You can be naive and brainwashed but good. Her thinking that open borders is safe is because she was naive and brainwashed. But she still seemed like a good girl.
She didn’t seem trashy or narcissistic posing half nude with duck lips in all of her posts (like many girls in her age group. She seemed wholesome and good hearted and not Antifa like
No matter what she was, she didn’t deserve to be killed.

It's only "shameful politicization of murder victims" when it's Democrats talking about gun control.

also, if you're a woman, doesn't matter where you live, jogging at night or on a trail by yourself where there are no people is fricking retarded unless you're packing. a lot of rapists actually stalk those jogging trails in the early morning and at night.
Fair enough but I don’t see as direct a correlation between her ideology and her murder as I do with the cyclists. I suppose you could take a 2A or support for illegal immigration angle with it, but at the end of the day I would still argue that her politics didn’t directly lead to her demise. By contrast, the politics of the cyclist put them in the vulnerable position they were in.
ETA: The cyclists went out to prove a point—they had an agenda. She just went out for excercise.

that she was a "frick white people"/open borders dipshit makes it even more tragic.
I just look at her as a naive kid. As she (would have) aged her world views would most likely change based on her life experiences. Even if she never moved off of this stance it's no reason for people to dismiss her murder (I'm not accusing Fox Mulder of this).
On principle I'm very against illegal immigration. But I'll also concede that the fix for those already here is tricky. My personal solution is an amnesty for those currently here who's only crime is being here illegally. Send the rest back. If you're married and committed a crime but your spouse didn't, then it's their choice if they want to stay or go with you. For kids, they can stay if one parent stays but leave if both or the only parent is deported.
Then we need to find a good solution to fill the jobs we don't want. Not sure how to do this. Temp visas? Move people willing to do these jobs higher in the legal entry line? Let the American economy work it out without them?

It's real damn simple: welfare reform.

So I just read at ABC news that this dude passed E-verify when he was hired at that farm a few years ago. However, ICE is saying he was definitely an illegal.
I am replying to myself here.
Yesterday, Yarrabee Farms told ABC news that they ran Rivera through E-verify and he passed. Today, Fox News is reporting that they never ran him through E-verify. A quote from Fox:
quote:
However, Yarrabee Farms co-owner and manager Dane Lang clarified Tuesday afternoon that the farm did not use a federal E-Verify check on suspect Cristhian Rivera, despite the company's claim earlier in the day that it did.
Lang said Rivera provided a state-issued photo identification and social security card. “We learned that our employee was not who he said he is.”
From this quote I am not sure what is being said. Is Mr. Lang saying they DID run him through E-verify and he passed using fake documents? Or is he saying they simply checked his driver's license and his SS# and said "that's good enough?"
If this guy was using fake documents, I am not sure what the company's liability is. If they ran him through E-verify and he passed, I am not sure the Tibbets will have much of a case. However, if they did NOT run him through E-verify and merely asked for a driver's license and SS#, they are fricked. The Tibbetts can take those motherfrickers for millions, and I hope they do.
If I were Mollie's dad, I would go out today and consult with the nastiest scuzzbucket lawyer I could find from a big lawfirm. Yarrabee Farms is not small time, so there's millions potentially to be made here. I say take the motherfrickers for everything they have.
