Investigators say suspect led them to Mollie’s body. He told them he did see Mollie running - ran alongside of her, Mollie threatened to call police, and took off running - he chased her down. This encounter happened at 385 St. downtown Brooklyn @KCCINews
Authorities first received security video two weeks ago. Spent hours going through it to determine which vehicle was following Mollie, which then led them to the suspect. Authorities first approached suspect yesterday. Say he was compliant and willing to talk. @KCCINews
Authorities: “Cant speak about motive, can just tell you that he followed her and seemed to be drawn to her on that particular day and for whatever reason chose to abduct her.” Suspect employed here between 4-7 years. @KCCINews
