But keep this in mind, Aggie fans, that all their buyouts combined are still less than Jimbo’s buyout.

Elon is the influential billionaire the right needs.
He's only "right" by default as the Left has moved so far to the left. People who were mere centrists just a few years ago are now "far right."

She thrived on the global power her position gave her, slightly paraphrasing, and was no doubt well paid while employed. She'll miss the power, and for some people like her, power IS what matters.

I think I would have slow walked this part unless he has some senior, senior folks familiar with every facet of the business

If we had a Republican President with half the stones and a quarter of the intelligence of Elon we might get something fixed in this country. But until then I can just enjoy Elon removing a sanctuary of thought from the left.

Excellent. What's the deal with the sink
He trolled Twitter by walking in with the sink and tweeting the video. Made the front page of the WSJ.

but normally when you take over a business you retain some senior leadership to walk you through the pit falls.

'm sure Elon has some dependable people working for him that have a clue.
Yeah, I'm better his got some folks in place. He was chief Twit since Trump left twitter before he owned it. He created PayPal. He's not retarded when it comes to twit'n, computer shite and making money.

He could shut it down tomorrow and still have more money the anyone else but if this was a serious business "investment" venture to 1) make money and 2) clean it up, I think I would have slow walked this part unless he has some senior, senior folks familiar with every facet of the business that he can trust so as to accomplish the above. I have no idea what his motive is but normally when you take over a business you retain some senior leadership to walk you through the pit falls.
Tells us he is a business moron without telling us.

I wish I could get fired and stroked a $10m+ check. I'd be walking out of that building sporting wood

Minutes after deal closes, Elon Musk fires senior Twitter leadership and has them escorted
It begins...

Agrawal is set to receive the largest payout of $38.7 million, due largely to the entirety of his shares vesting upon his firing.
Segal is set to receive a $25.4 million payout for getting fired.
Vijaya Gadde will leave with $12.5 million.
JFC, those are some diamond encrusted platinum parachutes right there.
I'd honestly be begging to get fired if a lump sum of $12-48MM waited for me.

1,100 employees have left Twitter since Musk announced his intention to buy the company back in January, with almost a third going to [u]Google or Meta.[/b]
To those of you who try to avoid the negative stigma of being called a "far-right conspiracy theorist"... Are you starting to see that it's not a conspiracy theory yet?
Meta will be next. Zuckerlizard already has sweaty palms. The world's largest psyop platform is being cleansed as we chat, and Meta and the Goog are soon to follow.

Funny how all of those H1B Visa recipients love themselves some censorship and authoritarianism.

I had some indirect involvement right in the middle of a very hostile takeover of a large publicly traded company…it got ugly and they did something similar.
What you don’t realize is there has been a battle behind the canes for awhile so these people probably hate each other’s guts.

So the total for canning those three is less than what it’s going to cost A&M to get rid of Jimbo
