Thats just a shitty ad.

Side note. I'm starting to see influencers in my fb feed. And in those they are prominently displaying bud lite bottles. I guess BL is trying a new approach.

If you mean by AB InBev, they don't. I don't know why that tweet suggests they do.

And I have a hard time seeing that ad as anything but just sort of dumb.

A few decades ago progressives were calling Christians prudes for being against the sexualization of women, now they're going above and beyond what Christians were doing.

Amazing timeline.

AB InBev owns both Bud Light and Miller Lite. In 2016, AB InBev acquired SABMiller, the second-largest brewer in the world, for $104 billion. This acquisition gave AB InBev ownership of a number of popular beer brands, including Miller Lite. As a result, AB InBev is now the largest brewer in the world, with a market share of over 25%.

Bud Light is the best-selling beer in the United States, while Miller Lite is the second-best-selling beer. Together, these two brands account for over 20% of the US beer market. The acquisition of SABMiller has given AB InBev a significant competitive advantage in the US beer market.

This is what that guy claims. No idea if it has any truth, haven't looked it up.

AbInBev acquired SAB Miller in 2016 but after a few months divested the MillerCoors beer operations to Molson Coors. So AB InBev doesn't own Miller.

completely different markets.

go to your local gas station and pay attention to who buys beer.
Then go to your local brewery or brewhouse. Totally different socio-economic group.

I think some missed the irony.

The spokeswoman had nice tits, a tight sweater, and no bra.

Also, the parent of Miller Lite already went woke long ago with their Coors rainbow gay cans.

I don't even think I've ever met a gay dude who drinks beer let alone that crap.

What's so funny is that they A) know EXACTLY who their customers are and B) fricking hate them so much they are actively trying to run them off in hopes of getting new, better customers. They've spent hundreds of millions of dollars over the past 50 years cultivating the exact demographic they now claim is problematic.

It's a bold strategy, Cotton...

They own almost everything:
quote:

Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (Dutch pronunciation: ['?n??i?z?r 'bu? '?mb?f]; abbreviated as AB InBev) is the largest beer company in the world.[citation needed] It had 200 brands prior to the merger with SABMiller on October 10, 2016.[1] The combined ABInBev/SAB Miller entity has approximately 400 beer brands as of January 2017.[2][3] The original InBev global brands are Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois. Its international brands are Beck's, Hoegaarden and Leffe. The rest are categorized as local brands. Many other brands were gained as a result of the merger with SABMiller. The estimated annual sales for the company in 2017 will be US$55 billion; prior to the merger, ABInBev had realized US$43.6 billion in revenue in 2015.[4] The company is expected to have an estimated global market share of 28 percent, according to Euromonitor International.
