I think Clandestine is giving world governments/leaders too much credit. We and other countries are run by a bunch of idiots. If they could get out of the way and let capitalism really work the world would be much more prosperous and peaceful.

Many of those labs were partially funded by the Biological Threat Reduction Program that Russia themselves asked the US to fund in an effort to reduce proliferation of dangerous pathogens after the Soviet Union collapsed. This was back in 90s as part of wider program to reduce proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.. Why would they all of sudden become concerned with these labs? There are labs that research deadly pathogens all over the world. What was so special about the ones in Ukraine.

The Russians were saying because they were developing pathogens in these labs specifically designed to kill Slavic people and only Slavic people. 
If that is true it seems like something the Slavic people may decide is important enough to go to war over.

So Slavs were making weapons that only kill Slavs and that made Slavs go to war with Slavs while Slavs not only supported the Slavs making the bioweapons, but Slavs also decided to sit out of the Slav vs Slav fight.
