The USA has been trending Left for decades. IMHO that trend will continue to its extreme culmination. The US military is not going to launch a coup de etat to stop this trend.
If the American People vote for some kind of future Leftist Regime, the US military will respect the Will of the American People.
The US military is a reflection of the Will of the American People. If the American People want to be ruled by a Leftist Regime and Vote for that to happen, the US military will not attempt to stop that. Why? Because the US military will reflect that Will of the American People.
My 2 cents
If the American People vote for some kind of future Leftist Regime, the US military will respect the Will of the American People.

And the US military knows that THEY THEMSELVES are not the judges and arbiters of exactly WHAT those "constitutional rights" actually and exactly are. If the civilian leadership tells the US military that the "constitutional rights " are XYZ and some youtube podcast guy says "no, it's ABC" then the US military is going to follow XYZ.
Let's remember that the Constitution of the Soviet Union had a very robust Bill of Rights, but, it didn't matter.
