I can't remember who popularized the term 'pencil necked geek' but I whenever I see Lupica I think of that.

Part of this was probably just an attempt to impress his liberal peers.
Part of it? I'd say about 95% of articles written by the mainstream press are written for the target audience of their peers. It's just a big echo chamber.

At least it wasn't a porcelain pistol that costs more than I make in a month.

(Sorry, Bruce.)

And for what, a possible invasion of Morningside Heights? Because he’s afraid the war in Ukraine might spill into Manhattan?

Perhaps he intends to show up on the set of Sports Reporters and clean house ... so that after the fact, maybe that show could become watchable. Because Lupica, almost single-handedly, makes it unwatchable.

Actually, De Blasio ran on a platform of reversing some of Bloomberg's nanny state policies.

I don't see how New York City's gun laws can pass constitutional muster. Washington, D.C. passed a similar law and the N.R.A. was all over it. Also, Felton's wife is a first-class bitch to rat him out to the cops just for owning weapons. She's also stupid since this jeopardizes his future income earning potential.

So fricking what, that brain dead idiot Lib Holder said AGs don't have to enforce laws they disagree with. All he needs to do is cough up some donation Benjamins to the Dem party and all is good.

The Feds have nothing to do with this, this is all New York City.

You're not making any sense. How can Holder get Felton out of this mess? By the way, are you upset that Holder isn't enforcing the federal marijuana laws? I'm not.

amazing how the states rights, small/local government types get all bent out of shape when a locality does something they don't like.

How about this: let New Yorkers be New Yorkers and you be you. If you don't agree with how they want to run their city then DON"T frickING MOVE THERE. But for the love of god stop the incessant whining and complaining.
