and yet you continue to use the "nuclear warhead is my 2nd amendment right bro!" fallacy

sounds like you had a fricking moron for a prof too

There are a lot of other examples and a lot of other links out there I could post but I realize that nothing will ever be good enough for you though and that's fine.

Of course there are. Millions.

The NRA is out there encouraging people to commit gun crimes.

I know that you don't believe in the individual right to self-defense - and that's fine - just say so. Don't pretend you're being "reasonable" and all of us arguing for the individual right to own, possess and employ firearms for self-defense are the ones going against the letter and spirit of the Constitution (because we aren't - you are).

where would that be from?

you and DS both try to use gotcha bullshite with the nuclear warhead fallacy, and it's been proven wrong and debunked for several decades.

it's hyperbole and it sucks. you arent smart to bring it up. it's one of the most tired and dumbest arguments gun grabbers bring up...

it's old bro! stop!

Well, I can't speak for all of them, but Paul Baier has a JD (Cum Laude) from Harvard - I daresay he's a genius.

But, he's almost too liberal to host a talk show on MSNBC...

He called me "Justice Scalia"...

The Second Amendment stipulates that the right is to "keep and bear" arms, meaning to possess, maintain, transport, carry, serve, and operate as in individual. That rules out things that are crew served and operated.

This is just your interpretation. Why does anyone else have to accept it?

Do you deny that you implied that the NRA is weakening "gun laws", and you really meant - the NRA is weakening the ATF? And you know the former is going to draw general support and the latter is going to draw a lot of, "Well, good!"

So, I countered with the ridiculous notion that the NRA is encouraging crime (which they are not). Heck, the NRA had a hand in every gun control law passed in these parts - I'm no fan of the NRA, but I applaud some of their efforts to hold some kind of a line against the federales.

By definition, an "arm is anything from a slingshot to a nuclear, intercontinental, ballistic missile. Your problem is that you would rather wallow in ignorance than concede that the government regularly infringes on our constitutional rights and it is the job of the courts to decide how far they can go with this infringement.

weakening gun laws =/= encouraging gun crime, but the end result is more gun crime than there would otherwise be if the current laws on the books were being enforced properly.

Surely you understood me when i said that the first time and were just being difficult.

As I said earlier, most of the Amendments, including the 1st Amendment, need to have some limits put on them. If the Amendments were absolute, it would lead to anarchy.
