Not based on the things in your link. The only thing those "weakening" measures do is weaken the ATF in harassing gun dealers and building a de facto gun database, neither of which I support.

You are always difficult on this issue. You pretend to take the "reasonable" ground, argue you want "the current laws enforced", then dog the NRA and praise the ATF.

You and I are simply on opposite sides of the issue - your protestations to the contrary notwithstanding - I want law abiding citizens to have a general availability of firearms for self-defense and recreational purposes. I want violent criminals locked up for their behavior.

Although I still believe you lean towards prohibition, at a minimum, you want a stronger ATF and a much more complicated and difficult process to purchase, possess and carry a firearm, and you actually hope this increased burden will deter more law abiding citizens from doing so.

I understand the position - I simply disagree with it.
