You are correct of course but at least someone is actually acting with a lick of common sense in DC.

When Trump was lobbying to shut it down. Barr came in and had lunch with Turtle. It is always a matter of national security. They can GFT!

THe FBI sucks and they never keep us safe from snack bar-they sit back while terrorists flow through our borders. Since Ruby Ridge they love to create militias and run pied piper counter op's against Americans.

Look at Obama and Eric Holder getting caught trying to set up a gun grab with fast and furious. Look at Gretchie's fake kidnapping with FBI informants. The same agent that ran that was promoted to run J6.

They will get a new Epstein. They were spying on Congress, media, SCOTUS. I imagine now they will just plant bugs the old fashioned way.

Next......... Speaker Johnson needs to outright wonder outloud and investigate about the GangOf8 usurping powers of the executive branch. As well as the DOJ Nat Sec Division that Brennan jacks off in every day---- getting OMB. and J6er granny's

The FBI gave a snackbar a bomb years ago then got in the news to thwart him like they were GI Joe hero's. ISIS was CREATED by OUR GOVT as a boogieman for wars.

We don't need the patriot act. it is as worthless as DC. The FBI, DOJ-NSD needs dismantled.

This man is going to get himself murdered.

Did not expect anyone in leadership to push back on FISA for any reason. Good for him.

Yep, while not reauthorizing FISA is a step in the right direction, I really will not be happy until our entire LE and IC are razed to the ground...

Pulling funding should be the next step...

They haven’t been following the laws are operating ethically anyways. This doesn’t make me feel they are suddenly going to be better.

Friggin' intelligence will cause an episode soon and blame it on their inability to spy on us!!

Hide and watch.

If they ignore SCOTUS regularly, what makes you think they wouldn't ignore Congress at will?

I hope this stays out. But, don't start congratulating yourself too quick.

The first round of the NDAA (just like CRs) always fails. So that all the reps can say "I voted against _______". Then it gets passed with _____ in it.

This doesn't mean that much - FISA re-auth is still coming up for a vote.

It's MUCH more difficult to sell Republicans on a standalone vote on FISA than an NDAA reauthorization. They've been using the excuse for YEARS that "we had to do it or military members won't get paid next month" and similar levels of bullshite.

I applaud Mike Johnson for getting this on the table but unfortunately it’s too late. The alphabet agencies most likely already collected enough dirt to control congress for years.

Exactly, sep it wont be "illegal". In the past they set up listening posts outside US territory, had the brits capture it, transfer to the canadians who then gave us the "foreign" intel....even though they were all US citizens living in the US.
