Yea put them in same rules as someone in public accounting that works on public clients. Also make them subject to all insider trader punishment.

"If you stay on this trajectory, you're going to have less qualified people who are willing to make the extreme sacrifice to run for Congress," Johnson warned. "At least let them, like, engage in some stock trading so that they can continue to take care of their family."

His next re-election is in 26', Trump needs to hold rallies to remove him and anyone like him from congress.

The ban on individual stocks or companies doesn’t have to include mutual funds or especially index funds. All that can be spelled out, but he knows this already. Those individual stocks is where they can use their insider knowledge to make the real money. Mutual funds are too slow for them.
Not like it’s hard to get around. Just get a family member to buy the stocks using your stock tips and have the earnings funneled into a non profit as “donations” where you are chair of said non profit and pay yourself

Frightening that congressman are saying the quiet part out loud. Congress was never supposed to be a career, yet that’s become the norm.
My grandfather served in the LA House for 20 years and it couldn’t even be considered a part time job. He basically lost money every year on travel and outreach to the district, but to him it was service.

This turd again. GOPe is just not going away. It's gonna take people paying attention at congressional level to stop electing these empty shills.
And Louisiana is responsible for a good share of these fukos.
