Yea put them in same rules as someone in public accounting that works on public clients. Also make them subject to all insider trader punishment.

Not like it’s hard to get around. Just get a family member to buy the stocks using your stock tips and have the earnings funneled into a non profit as “donations” where you are chair of said non profit and pay yourself

I’m sorry but how is Jasemine Crockett “most qualified”?

Frightening that congressman are saying the quiet part out loud. Congress was never supposed to be a career, yet that’s become the norm.

My grandfather served in the LA House for 20 years and it couldn’t even be considered a part time job. He basically lost money every year on travel and outreach to the district, but to him it was service.

What % of congress today have been successful in the private sector in the last 20yrs? Probably a very low number.
