Michigan Offers Homeowners $500 a Month to House ‘Newcomers’

What can you get for $500 a month??? A 40' shipping container with an air mattress?
Also nobody outside of Detroit metro area and the Ann Arbor socialist paradise is going to do this. The folks north of Grand Rapids are not open to these shenanigans.

It’s only a matter of time before our Federal Government takes an account of the “excess” square footage of your house and determines how many invaders you are required to house.

Only a racist wouldn't take that deal, we need to ship up more of them so more people can take advantage of that sweet deal
We need to expand our "Relocation Service" to include low level offenders

I have a family friend living with us so he can get his career off the ground and jumpstart his savings. We are charging him $1k a month. It barely covers the food he eats.

Are the recipients of the money allowed to do that, or do college rush rules apply? If you make them clean or cook or do your laundry it’s considered hazing/exploiting.
