We are charging him $1k a month. It barely covers the food he eats.

$1000x12 months = $12,000/52 weeks = $230.77 per week/7 days = $32.97 a day/3 meals a day = $10.98 per meal.

I can cook at home over the course of a month for a family of 4 for $1000 a month with planning, coupons and taking advantage of sales discounts, and cooking meals where there will be leftovers.

Love hearing MI doing this. Hopefully it sickens the middle of road voters for November.

You get bugs in the cellar, they are never leaving.
Only one way to get rid of them, and in this case it would be illegal.
Any fool who signs up for this can say bye bye to their home.

Why didn't they start a program like this to help homeless Americans get off the streets?

What can you get for $500 a month???

Hell, my wife spends $500 a month on shoes. That price is not gonna attract any takers except a homeless guy with an extra tent.

It’s only a matter of time before our Federal Government takes an account of the “excess” square footage of your house

The stormwater debacle in Baton Rouge a year ago essentially was a look-forward into exactly what local dem controlled jurisdictions have in store for us, then eventually the Feds. Excess square footage under roof was one of the things they wanted to additionally tax you on, basically saying that bigger homes mean more concrete and less greenery for water to drain etc. It's absolutely coming.

That won't even cover increases in utilities.

Violating the 3rd Amendment is their next step.

Isn't harboring an illegal alien a crime?

So, we have state and federal government offering reimbursement for this. Paying people to break the law by helping illegal aliens break the law.

And because I call it out, I'm considered a white nationalist domestic terrorist extremist... by the same governments catalyzing and supporting this shite.

Then you’re “newcomer” reports to the govt that you’re making them work for free by doing basic house chores. You’re then arrested and they get to keep your house

This is a great way to lose your home.

Michigan is one of those states that treat squatters like royalty.

What do you do when the frickers refuse to leave at some point?

Everyone involved should be arrested. Illegals deported after serving their jail time.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Wednesday, Mar 27th 2024
Court documents reveal an illegal Mexican immigrant charged with the murder of Ruby Garcia had several run-ins with police before he was deported in 2020.

Ortiz-Vite has a criminal record that dates back to 2017 in Grand Rapids, when he was cited for driving without a license, or on a license that wasn’t valid.

Six months later, Ortiz-Vite was arrested and charged with illegal entry into a residence in Wyoming, court records show.

Ortiz-Vite remained in the country for three more years following the incidents.

Calhoun County Prosecutor David Gilbert says deportation is a lengthy process.

“I have dealt with cases before, where they are in the process of being deported, and you have other things that actually stand in the way of deportation," Gilbert said.

Ortiz-Vite was removed from the country in 2020, following a drunk driving arrest in Grand Rapids in 2020
