Who is she trying to convince? Me or herself?
They are so damn insecure.

Well, judging from Moochelle’s philosophy on life in America, she probably thinks those things were owed to her.

Black women are by far the most humble people on earth. Just ask them.

Don’t make cubbies get off of her bent knee, lift her bowed head, and come straighten you out.

Two things I will never understand:

First, the massive amount of hate this woman still receives and has gotten since day one. A large percentage of the hate is simply racially based. The ‘Big Mike’ silliness is about as hillbilly as you can get.

Secondly, why Americans make such a big deal out of First Ladies. No other country in the world cares this much about the spouse of a prime minister or president. But the Americans act like they’re royalty. No one cares!!

If you ask any Yank to name the spouse of the Prime Minister, they can’t do it. Can’t name a single one. Because it doesn’t matter!!!

Honestly, the best American FL in years has been Laura Bush. You hardly knew she was there, did her job and then disappeared.

Because she speaks.

My own animus began roughly around her infamous utterance of, "All this for a damned flag?"

A large percentage of the hate is simply racially based.

That one is on her, too... she never fails to remind the world of her blackness.

That must be why so many black men dip out for a pack of Kools & never come back.

Yikes.

1. Much of what Michelle is experiencing, she brought on herself. With her “I’ve never been proud of my country until now “ comment after Barack won the Democrat nomination. (she later tried to change what she had said, but the bell had been rung.)

2. First ladies are an American thing. Whether they were gassed up by the press or whatever, it’s just a thing.

3. when the glamour magazines tried to gaslight the American public by putting Michelle on the cover of every issue and ignored Melania, who is a verified model, many people rejected it out right.

It’s not racist to see what you see.

I agree that is seems she does too many TV shows and podcasts but it’s a bit of a ‘damned if you do/damned if you don’t’ situation.

She’s an icon for the African-American community. I give her a pass.

So many whites bitch about there not being enough positive role models for black girls…..then you have some like Michelle, Serena, Biles. etc….and they still complain about them and go with name calling.

They just need to ignore the noise and hate and move on. It’s too bad some of you guys are so bothered, you have to make another thread about her.

The last thing anyone would accuse Michelle of is being "positive".

Were I raising a black daughter, Michelle Obama would be a cautionary tale, not a positive role model. She **could** have been a fantastic role model for young girls and women of all colors- but she chose bitterness and it shows in her every utterance. Screw her aggrieved arse.

This is what she should have said. This is the conversation about race in America that black people don't want to have.

This is such an odd argument for a woman who has been placed so near the halls of power to make. The left demonized Charlie Kirk for questioning her "brain processing power" and has screeched about how intelligent and accomplished she is, has blasted anyone who says she benefited from DEI (while at the same time defending the need for DEI), and there was strong belief (hope on the left and even some fear on the right) that she might be the one to step in after Joe Biden was sniped by his own people. And yet, here she sits, demanding to have her "beauty" recognized and claiming "beauty" as the source of her power. Are her feminist fore-mothers rolling in their graves? And then, demanding she gets double recognition, not just for her beauty, but her unique and very important "black" beauty... She just reduced decades of progress in two separate civil rights movements to dust. All so we can understand how "beautiful" she is.

How does anyone afford her any respect at all?

This is how I know you're a basic, white NIMBY with zero interaction with regular black people.

That MO is an, "icon," to regular black Americans is a load of bullshite, you pasty white dork.

No they don't. Stop projecting your grievances onto others.
quote:

Regular every day whites who are not self-hating like yourself couldn't care less. The black community doesn't need your white arse to look after them. As far as hate goes for MO, Serena and Biles, there's just as much hate on them from black people as white people. The average black male looks at Serena Williams as a race traitor and average black females find her obvious skin bleaching to be disturbing. None of the three would - or even could - be where they are at without white people supporting them en masse. Again, the average white person couldn't care less enough to even hate on them other than Michelle Obama, and that's because her husband had the power to actually effect our lives with laws being passed. They were a disaster for the country, and as time has gone on it has become abundantly clear that they're bumbling, hypocritical dumbasses with minimal real world experience.

Of course an idealogue like yourself will fail to see that, though. Nice of you to white knight, though, white savior. Black people have been waiting around you to speak up on their behalf.
