Yes, it's a private business. They can do whatever the heck they want. I guess my question, why? Is Emeril such a big fan of drag? Is the LGBTQ community pressuring business to support their...their...whatever it is that they're doing?

Here's my invite by email:

Tons of restaurants in NOLA have been doing this for many many years.

I really don't care, as long as are children are not involved.

Guarantee 80 percent of those lunch customers are white females, with gays making up a big chunk of the rest.

Putting aside whether an adult has the right to watch a drag performance—s/he obviously does—why would a person want to watch one?

Where’s the enjoyment in it?

To each his own; I get that.

But wtf? Why?

Carry on, I guess. Just leave the kiddos out of it.

Wasn't there a chain doing this like 30 years ago and had a place in Nola? Thinking the name was Chans or Changs or something like that.

This is exactly where I would have expected to see a drag brunch for the last 30 years. Suddenly it's a big deal?

I think it’s as a simple as it’s the current thing and everyone wants to support the current thing.

It’s still gross. Ugly liberal white women love a drag brunch though.

Who knew watching fat male gay alcoholics/drug addicts dressed in slutty women’s clothing was a fetish.

We have a couple of posters here into this though.

They are sexually aroused.

The really sick ones get sexually aroused at children being exposed to it.

The My-O-My Club was on the lakefront in the 1940s. This is nothing new.

What business is it of yours if someone wants to involve their kids?
