Agreed. I don't condone Paul's neighbor's actions that day at all, and never will. But after seeing Rand act so cowardly for so many years since then, I can't help but see Mullin's point. And I'm an Okie who doesn't even like Mullin.

This is all a prime example of why I can never support a Massie or Paul libertarian. They are great on some issues... but total fricking whack jobs and just as bad as liberals on so many others.

I am a libertarian and Trump supporter, you nailed it on the head. The ones like Massie and Paul are no different than the liberals that hate Trump. It’s embarrassing to see these guys fight so hard against Trump. Most modern libertarians are people who belong to Facebook groups that are persuaded by memes not libertarian values. They’re usually people who have friends on both sides and play the middle to not offend their circle.

If I were forced to self identify, I would consider myself to be libertarian. And that is why it’s so cringe to read an article like this. I really liked Ron, Rand was just ok. I will never understand how any freedom loving American could vote for McCain or Romney over Ron.
This is total self destruction of a political party, but more importantly annihilation of a worthwhile message in what I consider libertarianism to be. All the wrong people have flocked to the party itself. Why do these idiots let things like this happen?
I will not defend the Libertarian party because it sucks. I just wish libertarians could get sane people to represent them and focus on whats actually important to libertarians - freedom and individualism. Am I asking too much?
