Bears watching how this new upset - like all the others over the years - which was waiting in queue for its turn, catches on nationwide - what with the upcoming election and all.
But at least they waited awhile to parade out this one.
Any seriousness about "the scientific method" for the social sciences was jettisoned as far back as 1950 with the "study" The Authoritarian Personality.

My mother was in a recoup hospital after heart surgery.. I did not wear my Trump shirt in there because I was afraid they would neglect her.

Therein, the Progressive 'Woke' Ideology of 'equity' and the drive for 'fairness' re the valuation of individuals. Drop the standards until everybody is 'equal', and societal problems go away. Utter BullS&^%&*!
"Behold, there is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof is destruction". See and believe. There will never be 'equality' in this Universal Paradigm, nor should there be. Only at the expense of Justice and a prosperous society.
This said, the true value of an individual depends on the criteria by which 'value' is assigned. IMO, the ultimate Value is the Spiritual feeling of Love; albeit we exist in a world of 'flesh' wherein the rules of power and the ability to acquire Knowledge as Power, establishes World, relative superiority/supremacy.
Given scientific advance, I suspect that the Human body and spirit will change accordingly, advancing toward the 'superior' (subjective choice to be determined when ALL the relevant info is in) form of Spiritual existence. Those aliens (assuming such exists) in the UFOs are likely asexual, bodily immortal and are aware of the 'Unity' (Love) of Universal Matter, Energy and the Consciousness which both springs from It, and is the basis of It. And they know we don't know and are incapable - but for extraordinary circumstance - of such an awareness. That would be the Judeo-Christian description of what humans become in 'Heaven'. For now, we are 'Flesh' at our core and will react and act accordingly. We'll see if Faith (Intent) is a real power and that there is Jesus to pick up the slack, pretty soon most likely, as our World collapse and there is nothing but Faith left. I think those Aliens both respect and fear Jesus' power. As well they should, lest they forfeit Love.
For now I'll settle for a win against the Vols.
