Fast-forward today and liberals complain that NY is too gentrified and clean and makes too much money.
Liberals really are a piece of work these days. They see the revitalization of NY and the reduction in crime and homeless as "white-washing" NY and it lost its character (porn theaters, homeless and hookers.)
I suppose that's how they see S.F. and fear it becoming like New York...ya know, a place people would want to visit and a place that enforces laws.
