McConnell announces discharge from rehabilitation center

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced Thursday he has been discharged from the rehabilitation center where he was undergoing intense physical therapy to recover from a fall he suffered in June.
“Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues and Kentuckians and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists and hospital staff,” McConnell said in a statement.
He said he would continue to recover at home over the August recess, confirming expectations that he won’t return to the Senate before September. The recess runs through Sept. 14.

Even in wheel chair - what a triumphant shot it would’ve been to see him rolled out in the face of his doubters
1) imagine what level of horrific shape he must be in to not show him leaving the hospital
2) how the hell are their not photographers at the facility and his house around the clock (or stealthily planted cameras).

We complain about them carrying water for Joe, but this is getting to be pretty absurd in its own right.
