I remember when they installed charging stations at a casino that I occasionally visit. It took about a week before the folks from Atlanta stole them.

The fed is already supplying housing, food stamps, internet, phone, etc to their target audience. The next step is to furnish them with EV at taxpayer expense. I'm sure we'll get to foot the bill to charge them, too.

If you drive the average daily drivers distance per year 14k miles. You will spend $1200 more on electricity charging your EV then you would spend on a gas burner. Plus batteries have to be replaced on EV’s every 10 years those cost 10k a pop

Exactly. Mobility was a boom to those chained to serf styled economies. It is easy to control those in a ghetto than spread out over long miles as the Germans were quick to discover.
