Because their 'solution' to the problem is to greatly expand and overstep the boundaries of the federal government, thus violating the 10th Amendment, and he always votes against that.

And the better solution is to allow states to continue to steal billions from the federal government?

This is the problem with making being principled your identity. Eventually, your principles are going to collide, and you're going to have to choose one over the other. Then you look unprincipled and become a joke.

Allowing fraud because you don't think the federal government has the right to access data from the states doesn't make you look principled, just stupid.

Maybe it has something to do with federalism...the US Attorney General directly compelling state agencies to do something???

Constantly complaining about spending but then voting against something that will limit fraud is dumb. Massie cares more about appearing principled than actually helping the country.

He savors the "rogue conservative" identity his followers have bestowed upon him. His goal is to no longer help the country. It’s to be a renegade and fight his own party for accolades from anti-Trump conservatives and, apparently, progressive democrats.

Massie is a principled conservative and votes the way he does off a core philosophy.

Folks keep saying things like this. Apparently his constituents didn't think his core philosophy matched theirs.

Why do people here think that people on this board elected him out?

His own people kicked him to the curb.

This must be why he said we shouldn't take Nick Shirley seriously the other day. The guy who is boots on the ground uncovering fraud as a journalist.

I'll explain it to you like it was explained to me by a Massie bro.

Nick only exposes somali and muslim fraud, not jewish fraud. Since he "ignores" jewish fraud, he is a plant by the jews and we can't take him seriously.

That's almost verbatim.

It doesn't matter that Nick can't expose all the fraud himself and chose the somalis for whatever reason, maybe it was just easier because he had the access. If you don't aggressively pursue jews above all other groups, then you are a shill for Israel. No exceptions.

Nick is exposing fraud, but it's the wrong fraud to them. You can't focus on any group doing something bad unless you focus on jewish groups first.

Did they pay his constituents not to vote for him? Shouldn't they have been able to see all the good he has done them back home? Shouldn't his work on their behalf be enough to have them vote him back in?

Or maybe they saw him on the news enough...standing up for shite they didn't care about...to make a simple decision.

Surely no amount of money could get people to vote against their own representative if he was working so hard, for them.

Oh...and they spent roughly the same amount...total spent $37 million

quote:

While PACs spent a staggering amount on attack ads against Massie, the incumbent congressman was not defenseless, as his campaign and allied PACs combined to spend more than $18 million in the primary — only slightly less than that of pro-Gallrein spending.

No. The better solution is for the Federal Govt not to fund them at all.

If a state wants these fraud ridden programs, they can fund it themselves.

Where the frick were you when Republicans blocked Massie's amendment to the Omnibus bill to empower the Trump executive branch to withhold spending to States that were considered high risk for fraud?
