If Democrats really cared about gun violence they would enforce laws on the books in Chicago and confiscate the guns from blacks there.

The 2nd Amendment isn’t particularly complicated, genius. The premise behind it is simple and its enforcement should be simple, too: citizens have every right to be armed well enough to compete with the average US Army soldier, Marine, or any foreign militant. Point blank. That’s why we have the amendment and idiots like you want to say that “the founders never existed automatic weaponry to exist” (therefore it’s a complex issue ) when A. automatic weaponry has existed since the 1500’s and B. future weapons tech was completely irrelevant given the founders’ intent of the amendment

Where is the thread where you start a conversation about the first step which in the US is a movement to repeal the second amendment? That is the only path to gun control in the US and none of the gun grabbers want to admit that.

Right now my right to bear arms is a sacred right, granted by my creator, and enshrined by our constitution. No less than the right to vote is.

Recognizing that point is the only realistic starting point and no one on the gun grabbing side wants to say it nor admit it because it is a non-starter. Therefore the reality is guns are here and will stay. The only thing to discuss is how to keep guns out of criminal and crazy peoples hands while not infringing on my rights.

I’m so pissed at these fricks for ruining Egypt. I had a chance to visit Cairo later next year (already going to be in Tel Aviv for work) but now it’s not safe at all.

Perhaps the problem isn't the laws, it is ignorance of them. Due to low literacy rates in some 3rd world areas of the world, like Chicago, they just aren't able to adequately read and understand the laws.
