Yes. It's that republican rhetoric that is the problem.

Daily Kos is a bastion of liberal Democrat progressives.

And that tweet right there is a crystal clear window into the mentality of today's Democrat. There are some that are trying to be diplomatic and not as brazen as this guy...but they think just like him.

Fact.

This is who we are dealing with.

Because no one but the shooter died I'd say it'll be only a few more days at most before liberals take the gloves off. I fully expect more comments like this from left talking heads.

These lefties honestly believe that tyranny = having a political party, that you didn't vote for, in the majority. They need a taste or real tyranny.

"It was a terrible tragedy and we are so relieved that the victims are recovering... but isn't it time we had a new conversation on not only the ease with which mentally ill people acquire guns, but how Donald Trump's violent rhetoric has led to a disturbing trend in political discourse?"

He is a left wing nutjob.

Quote from him in 2004 on the death of Blackwater contractors in Iraq.

quote:

"Let the people see what war is like. This isn't an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush's folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries [sic]. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them."

Senator Rand Paul

It's a fair point, no? Rand Paul talks about the 2nd Amdtt as a protection against government tyranny. The problem with inviting lawlessness--allowing anyone to decide when a government has crossed the line--is that any nutjob with a gun gets to decide.
