Has anyone looked at the specific language in the bill?
Is this a permanent ban or does it apply while they are being investigated?
I ask this because when a restraining order is issued for domestic violence, the recipient of the order is not allowed to possess a gun while the order is in effect. This despite not being criminally charge and based on an accusation with little or no investigation.

I could definitely see this being abused especially considering our current administration.
However, the OP's title is misleading. A delay is different than a ban.
