If it wasn't for America the French would be speaking German.

However, we are convinced that once the situation is calmer—and I deliberately use a broad term here—once the core of the bombing has ceased, we are ready, with other nations, to take responsibility for an escort system.

In hindsight, we should have let the Nazis takes Europe

Not a more perfect statement of French irrelevance

Well, that's the thing -- he can shred alliances and trash Europe, I'm actually fine with it. But, you can't get mad when they won't help now
So, 80 years of protecting them after rescuing them from Nazis means nothing?
What specifically has Trump done to "shred alliances?" Call them weak and demand they spend more on our collective defense? Oh the horror. How does someone get so soft that they start defending weakness?
It's dumb how the pro-Iran crowd thinks our allies should only be fair-weather friends, how the trillions we've spent protecting them while they fail to provide even the most basic defense of their own people is just something to be dismissed at the first available opportunity.
What's the point of having any allies if it is strictly a one-way street? People like you are the reason we get constantly taking advantage of.
A true American wouldn't be looking for excuses for why the people who wouldn't have a country without us don't need to help with something as minor as sending a single ship to do patrols.
The default position of all you pro-Iran people is to go against your own country. You're not just against the war. You are making excuses for why our supposed friends are not helping. You do not belong here if you are going to defend foreign countries over your own.
You're not America First if you put the feelings of other countries over the security of your own. You don't have to like the bombings, but the one thing you can't do is side with other countries over America.

Zaragoza, a general from Goliad Texas would disagree with you.

Cut off all exports of LNG and Refined products and his wife with the giant penis will set him straight. Typical French wimp

Just wait France/Europe, you will be stuck with no jet fuel soon.
Airlines have been warned that they will face jet fuel shortages as soon as next month, risking flight cancellations to long-haul destinations at the end of the busy Easter holiday period.
The International Air Transport Association said the conflict had exposed “deep vulnerabilities in jet fuel security” and that Europe is among the most exposed, with 25–30 per cent of its jet fuel demand originating from the Persian Gulf.

Time for Trump to just secure it with one of our fleets after we secure and occupy the critical islands through it and start charging a sur tax on any ship transporting to any country that is NOT The United States of America.

Ray Charles knew we were bombing Iran. Where do you people come from?

And good ol’ Ray has been dead for awhile now. My dear, departed Mom wanted to bomb Iran way back in 1983 when her middle son was on Embassy duty in Beirut. Trump is being merciful compared to my Mom!
True story. She was in grade school when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked. I didn’t tell her, but she found out I was in Lebanon (I’m pretty sure my grand uncle told her). She, a lifelong Democrat, wanted President Reagan to nuke Iran. Just because her Terell MIGHT be in danger! Love you, Mom

There is a cottage industry sweeping across Europe. It is to hate Americans. They always have and always will.

Typical French response. Trump will remember this, for sure.
