The only way to deal with Iran is to do things we will not do because they will shift norms in a dramatic way. Nah that Camp David meeting was probably about Cuba or what to do if talks fail. Trump will not continue the military campaign until after midterms. He may be getting plans together to continue the operation of the US Navy escorting all the oil rangers and cargo ships.
Also The negotiations have been continuing all day.

I just hope he keeps this tone with Iran. We should just take the straight.

Well whats to be determined is whether he would rather commit the US to a major war than try to tell Israel what to do.

Because if he gets Israel in line we have peace.

If he doesn’t we will continue to have war.

All this really tells me is that the IRGC guys and the moderates can't get on the same page, and both sides have their own media people they leak to. The new "Supreme Leader" is still pretty screwed up and does not have the power to force the IRGC guys to just sit there and take it, but also doesn't have the power to force the moderates to not negotiate in good faith.

So we keep having yes, no, yes, no.... All this really did is let all the ships stuck in Hormuz out and drive down prices for a bit. If they can't figure it out, now we have an excuse to do it for the rest of the world and charge a premium for it.

Stopping Iran from getting nukes was done for free. Keeping the Strait of Hormuz open is going to cost a premium..

Also, this comes right after the UK PM is being forced to resign, so expect a bit more US-friendly person to take the reins if Labor wants any chance of surviving the next election.

Israel isnt the only problem. Iran will never commit to a deal we accept. They are still saying they should have a nuke as of today.

He needs to sink every boat on the coast of Iran. Big or small.
