When people saw the guy on the roof, I was stunned they couldn't they grab a cop to radio or get on whatever channel to tell Secret Service to pull Trump off stage.

One of the half arse excuses given why it wasn’t done, was for safety of the bullets coming down on the crowd.

It is normal for locals to be on a different channel than SS. The SS has their own specialized radios that do not interoperate with regular police radios. And the SS does not want a bunch of local police chatter in their earpieces anyway.
However, there is supposed to be a command center where there's a guy listening to both radios and passing the info back and forth. From what the PA police commissioner said, that guy either didn't show up or left his post at some point.
And there was also a text thread that both SS and locals were on. Everyone could read these texts. It is not clear why the info wasn't sent this way, and if it was, why SS didn't respond.

You'd figure that there would be some journalists that would be salivating to seriously investigate the assassination attempt.

There was no comms because they wanted a Kill Shot by anyone who would oblige. The Sniper who killed him was 400 yards away, the two behind Trump either never shot or missed.

Until they settle on a consistent, credible story as to HOW people messed up, I don't think ANYTHING about this is the simplest explanation.
I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but discussion boards such as this will become increasingly important as the memory holing accelerates.

You Tube from a guy by the Oak trees in front of the building where the dead guy was. You may have already seen this but 2 things I found interesting were:
> in the beginning of this video there is a plain clothes guy trying to make people leave that area an hour or so before.
> Then you see quite a few local or state PD walking around the building looking to the roof which raises this guys curiosity that something is happening way before any shots.
Unless it is the echo of the buildings and the trees, the first 3 shots sound like glass breaking after each. Then the 5 rapid fire shots. Then 1 more similar to the first 3. Then several seconds later you can hear the kill shot as anyone who has hunted deer can tell you upon hearing the impact and shot close together.
This guy says he was arrested by PA State Police and roughed up for whatever reason.
This may be old news to you and others but something is not adding up about this entire assassination attempt.
Of that there is no doubt.

Dan Bongino is pretty tied into the USSS. He has confirmed that
1) the first to return fire was a local team, not USSS, and that shot missed
2) Crooks was killed by a USSS team from 400 yards
That should tell you that the two teams - both USSS - behind Trump never fired
