Seriously? Weed is legal or decriminalized everywhere now. Hasn’t ruined the state of Missouri despite the fear mongering. Colorado may have issues but i doubt legal weed is even in the top 20.

I vacationed in Colorado, Crested Butte, a short time after legalization

Felt like I was in the Popeyes drive-thru the entire time I was there. Several times we had to go looking for employees, who were outside lighting one up. And not a single apology. It was like I was the one being rude by interrupting

Prior visits were some of the best vacays I have done. Eager to please was usually the response. But no more. Havent been, and wont ever go back

2022, outside of Denver Metro was great, I spent most of my time far away from that bluehole.

Denver was entire city blocks of tents and homeless and drug addicts and mentally ill. You couldn’t even walk on the sidewalks. And you’re just hoping that day isn’t the day one of them suffers a major break and assaults you or tries to rob/kill you.

Sadly, right before pot was legalized the area you’re talking about (if it’s LoDo) was getting really nice. There were bars and restaurants thriving in the area housing was improving. I mean it was really nice. Then…

Seriously?

I knew a couple of folks who packed up and moved within days of it becoming legal there.

I can assure you...they were not the "cream of the crop".

Colorado has been gone. Several family and friends who lived there abandoned it a few years back. Some moved to TN and others to Utah.

Lived in CO since 1988. I never imagined what the state would turn in to. There are still bastions of conservatives in the outlying areas but pretty much everything around Denver, Boulder and Co. Sprgs is fricked. My town of Golden has turned into loonville.

Denver is overrated as hell in my opinion. Only visited though...never lived there though so can't give a super well informed opinion.

On the flip side California is incredible to visit.

We left last year after 30 years and it wasn't because we couldn't afford it.

Michelle Malkin, who lives in Colorado, wrote an article that became the basis for the film Rocky Mountain Heist about how the far left took over colorado and used it as the blueprint for other states and the whole country.

“Progressivism” working its magic yet again. What a track record.

I’ve asked before for anyone out there to provide the board even one example (just one!) where Leftist rule has left a place in demonstrably better shape than what it inherited - be it a city, a state, or a country.

To date, I’ve never had any takers on that seemingly simple challenge.

Colorado s well down the road, with negative net migration. Utah is next.
