seems like i recall this happening in 2020 but this is the first i've heard of it this election.

Some users are criticizing Trump critic George Conway for encouraging his X followers to secure tickets for Trump's Madison Square Garden rally. Conway has been posting links this week to the sign-up page for tickets.

Tickets to Trump rallies don't mean anything. They just put you on an email list. I had a ticket to a Trump rally and it filled up before I got in. They don't actually check tickets when you go in.

Yeah my wife has been to a few, they just let you in if you have a ticket. It's first come fist serve, that's why people show up to his rallies so early. Even if you have a ticket it doesn't mean you will get in, when it's full it's full. These activists are just giving their money away for nothing.

My MIL was at a rally in GA on Weds. They give tickets to everyone that requests them and they fill the place until they are at capacity, that’s why there are thousands outside in the overflow who can’t get in.
