this was so laughable. Where mask to walk 10 feet and sit down and take it off.
Masks on a plane unless you were eating.
Sure, you can enforce my at the time 3 year of old to wear a mask, or I can have his grandma hop him up on candy the whole flight so he's always eating. Your call.

What kind of President would allow this great nation to be shut down like this?

I refused to get the jab. They'll never admit it but I know my company had my supervisor bump heads w me intentionally to run me off as a result. I was the only one who held out. I make 12k a year more now as I found a job at a competitor 2 months after. Still not jabbed.

Crowded gatherings are illegal!
(Unless it was a BLM/Defund the Police Rally, which was immune to Covid)

Standing outside the ABC liquor store in line while you told a person what you wanted to get, then they phoned it in inside for you to go pay.

Closing down outdoor parks and grocery stores that had stickers saying you could only go one direction in this aisle and another direction in another aisle.

Not so fondly thinking back to all the insane shite governments cooked up to "keep us safe from coronavirus" that made no sense
I think it’s an important exercise to remember these things, it reminds us that when fear and emotional thinking become the only means of informing and making a decision, the decisions tend to be short-sighted, of poor quality, and in the government’s case, tyrannical.

Ahh.. I forgot that one. Protests aren't "gatherings." Covid respects your protest.

But the reality is that the draconian measures didn't impact the loss of life much at all and the death toll would have likely been the same regardless.
A group of doctors, epidemiologists, and scientists came to that conclusion in the fall of 2020. They observed that the severity of COVID-19 was mostly dependent on age and pre-existing health conditions.
These doctors and scientists wrote the Great Barrington Declaration which has accumulated close to 1 million signatures from health professionals and scientists.
They proposed that healthy children, young adults, and middle-aged should return to pre-pandemic lives. Only the elderly or people with serious health conditions should observe pandemic precautions.
They submitted their proposal to the NIH, and the NIH actively suppressed and buried the proposal. In emails between Fauci to the head of the NIH, Francis Collins, they took great delight in burying this plan.
The Great Barrington Declaration
Fauci and Collins shutting down the Great Barrington Declaration
quote:
Collins appeared on television this week to confirm that the email was authentic, and that he stood by the message. At the time, he believed the Great Barrington Declaration idea of focused protection would result in more deaths than the alternative view of one-size-fits all restrictions. Collins also confirmed that he believed the three authors of the declaration were “fringe” scientists.

Riots are fine but seeing your family at Thanksgiving ought to be frowned upon.
the value system that promotes human happiness was entirely cast aside for an arbitrary set of ineffective rules that made people miserable and were set into place by people that didn’t follow their own rules to begin with
A truly infuriating time.

Allowing elderly loved ones to die alone because their families were at risk from a virus with one of the highest survivability rates in History...

My favorite was when they filled in a skate park with sand to keep kids from playing in it.
Arresting folks walking on the beach alone.
Saying BLM protests and riots weren’t spreading covid while not allowing people to attend funerals.
Arresting pastors for holding church services.
Closing down small businesses but allowing people to buy all of those same items at Wal-Mart

I think Covid is what showed the party of the left is the most hypocritical party and sheep followers ever. The right is for sure not wonderful but damn 2020/21 was embarrassing for leftist, even with Biden being president, hell, it became even more embarrassing. Rule number 1, politicians and mandates don’t stop or slow down viruses
And yea, I’m looking at Trump also. Had balls of steel entire presidency and gave in to the white liberal and did a temporary shutdown
