Why did we use a Nuke?
At one time it was reported that Russia had more Nukes than any other country.

Putin isn't all that much worried about Europe or NATO without their having full support from the US. Sure, things are getting squirrelly in Russia, but Putin has a tight grip on his populate.
Im not defending Putin or his brutal dictatorship, just saying that he doesn't fear/respect European leaders.

unfortunately for all involved, we will still be delivering weapons in 2027 due to prior agreements.

Putin is a billionaire and isn't going to do anything sending him to an early grave. Now, it's possible he could drop a nuclear bomb on England and all they would do is demand that the U.N. send out a letter condemning it as a 'Very Bad Thing To Do.'

The population is mad at Putin because many feel he is being too soft against Nato while Nato dumps in tons of drones and weapons to attack Russia from under Ukraines skirt. They want to see Putin strike back at energy plants the same way Nato is striking at Russia 1 for 1. Putin has been weak by not holding red lines earlier in war, allowing Nato to progressively increase their levels of strikes into Russia. Now would be a good time to send a stronger message. On the ground his military is winning the war...taking more town in the Donbas this week. The fake news media focuses on the drone wars to hide the slow attrition progress on the battlefield. Ukraine troop rates are so low and they have run out of men to kidnap off the streets that they are now begging EU to pass laws to ship back the Ukranian boys who have abandonned it across the borders because they dont want to fight Natos war.

The crazies will act accordingly but I don’t think “the World” would be willing to take the pain of nuclear exchange. Over Ukraine. Or maybe even a descending Europe that will be Muslim within a decade and no friend to the Ukrainians.
