The security guard was obviously an idiot and not well trained if he was trained at all. He is gonna go to prison for a long time I assume.

Do you think Kyle Rittenhouse was justified to use lethal force for the first guy he shot, who was unarmed as far as we know, and chasing him?

Without a doubt.

Was all this "performance art?" Does that look like a fired pistol? Zoom in on the ejected casing. That looks an awful lot like an entire bullet to me.

You are wrong.
Getting your arse kicked is not justifiable for use of lethal force. In CA ( one state I carried ) you pretty much have to be an inch from death before I can intervene on your behalf.

That's CA. I guess you mean either California or Canada. Getting your arse kicked is justifiable use of lethal force depending on the circumstances. And with all due respect sir, you contradict your own argument in your two sentences. How do you define, you "pretty much have to be an inch from death" before I can "intervene"? How do you define "pretty much" and "inch from death" ?

I sure am sorry to be such an a-hole

Someone has to be beating your arse so bad I think you will die. How about that. But getting your sunglasses slapped off and your feelings hurt is not. That clear enough for you.

Yea I'd say youre an a-hole.

Only when the arse kicking is happening, and if you are afraid that you are going to be killed. Once that danger is over, shooting the other person becomes retribution, not self defense.

New photo looks as if shooter is reaching for gun here after the slap.

Ok, that's fake af.... No one in the crowd flinches when the gun fires? Not one blood curdling scream from onlookers? Crowd doesn't scatter? Victim falls on his rear? This has to be a twitter hoax.

I agree. The slap alone is not enough to justify the shooting. But there's others elements here you're not seeing.

1.) There were several other guys with the mace guy that seemed to be on his side. One had what appears to be a knife holstered.

2.)The shooter can claim what he thought was in the mace guys hand was a knife or gun being raised at him and claim he never even realized it was mace.

3.)The shooter can claim he was hired to protect the news journalist and that's all he was trying to do. The journalist appears to be the primary one recording the black guy screaming "Mace me".

4.)The mace or the slap individually seems to me like not justification to shoot. When you put them both together I don't think the guy is going to prison

The journalist he was protecting is in the blue shirt orange backpack that is standing next to shooter. That was not the one recording the mace me guy.
