Once again everyone
1 getting slapped is not a justification of lethal force
2 being bear sprayed is not a justification of lethal force
3 having your feelings hurt is not a justification for lethal force
4 thinking you are threatened is not a justification for lethal force

The police were 100 feet away. There was no need to escalate to shooting someone.

Do you think Kyle Rittenhouse was justified to use lethal force for the first guy he shot, who was unarmed as far as we know, and chasing him?

Well, it helps when you show your arse like that. It makes it easier to ignore future posts.

I am pretty moderate, just asking how you can see one as justified and not the other. I dont think either shooting, that one of the one tonight was justified.

The first guy who tried to take his rifle?
Or the second guy who tried to take his rifle?
Or the third guy who had a pistol illegally?

Yes. We have plenty of internet moderates who also believe in all sorts of non-moderate things on this forum. We welcome another one.

Is there proof of this? If there is then it was justified, hadnt seen proof of it though.

I agree with all that but he was slapped hard enough his cap came off and lands totally out of the picture. It looks to me like he's pointing in to that guys shirt initially so he may have had a question about what the shirt says but it looks like "BLM" at the top of the shirt. Or does it say FBLM? The shirt has some message on it which may have started the questions or conflict with the shooter. The shooter can start by saying, "I was attempting to defuse the situation by asking about his shirt, he took offense to it and slapped me". It all happened so fast that if he was slapped hard enough he was momentarily disoriented, he could claim he thought that was a knife or gun the guy was about to use.
It really looks like a 50/50 deal here. I don't think the shooter went out there looking to kill anyone. But I might be wrong.

You are wrong.
Getting your arse kicked is not justifiable for use of lethal force. In CA ( one state I carried ) you pretty much have to be an inch from death before I can intervene on your behalf.

If I have a rifle in my hands, and somebody wants to start shite with me, and chase me, when I try to get away from them, I have to assume that they are armed, because it would be beyond my comprehension, that an unarmed person would be stupid enough to pursue me.

This is why I think he wont get self defense.
It looks like the other guy reached for his bear spray at the same time this guy reached for his gun, was it possible the shooter thought the guy was reaching for a gun instead of bear spray? Idk, but that would be the only possible way it was justified, even then it may not be.

Shooter could have easily gotten out of the area.

He won't get self-defense because there is a photo of him gun out and bear sprat out. There is no debating which is what, at this moment, the guy with the gun has the upper hand and the situation should have been defused then.

You say this, but it seems like you've been trying to rile people up all day today on here
Do some research on the Rittenhouse thing, he will walk with self defense charges. I am liberal enough to make most of this forum blush when it comes down to it for what it's worth.
