I thought I'd come back here and link the actual supposedly leaked documents, after I found them on the Serbian and pro-Russian twitter account @onlydjole, for anyone who was as curious as I was.
This is, as you can see, one of the pics after a Russian account digitally altered the Russian and Ukrainian losses.
As I mentioned earlier, there's an earlier version of the pic that shows losses that's also still circulating in Russian channels, and it shows this:

Times article says up to 200,000 casualties on the Russian side and 100,000 on the Ukraine side. The title of this post was likely taken as gospel for the bulk of readers because we have a fraction of the curiosity as a people in the US than when our parents generation grew up. Still Ukraine is in a world of hurt because they don't have the people to continue to sustain these loses.
And Putin has convinced his people they are in a WWII type struggle which convinces them they can lose 100s of thousands more. Even though it was the Russians who invaded.
The Russian people are even less curious than citizens of the US are.

I don’t think the Ukraine lovers think about the amount of civilians that have been killed. They never mention that and the destruction but only discuss Ukraine troops and Russia deaths. No Russian civilians have died, but plenty of Ukrainians have.

I agree. No one here really knows.
But I will say that if Russia lost just 25% of the soldiers that Ukraine had lost that they would have taken Kiev, and steamrolled West. Those numbers really don’t make sense.
