I get that in Louisiana laying low is the best campaign strategy, but should we expect a candidate to work a little harder for our vote? NDAs and carbon capture kickbacks should at least be something she should address to constituents.
None of this means that you vote for a (D), but does the lack of talk about her (at least here in BR), speak more to how no one knows anything about her, how apathetic voters are on her, or that she just doesn't have much to say?
Fleming always had an uphill battle to win, but he worked incredibly hard and was very visible and outspoken on the issues he cared about.

The hard part is over after she won the Republican primary. She's a shoe-in now. She can only hurt herself by debating or doing much public speaking. She just needs to run ads every now and then just to remind people there's an election coming up so she can turn out the right amount of voters.

It’s an absolute shame that Louisiana will once again be beholden to identity politics.
Debates should be mandatory.
Regardless of how you feel about any candidate there should be a forum for candidates to champion or challenge beliefs. Also give their potential constituents an idea of them at the very least.
Currently she’s on track to be elected while having done basically nothing to really convince voters. The majority of the Louisiana populace likely has no idea who she is or any of her accomplishments to this point.

She will get my vote because she is (R)
But she has done nothing to earn it or make me want to vote for her
Having her husband die suddenly makes her qualified for office?

There is never a reason to vote for a (D). Unless you support Communism

Not a fan of Letlow
She’s a product of the corrupt Louisiana Republican Party
For the panicans, I won’t be voting for a democrat

She's a DEI hire that is there to vote how she is told for a paycheck. At least Kennedy is funny while being a puppet.

What do you really need a Senator to DO other than vote the way you wish on legislation and appointments?

I'd like her to tell me what her values are, her stance on major issues that effect our state, will she stand up to the party if they tell her to do something that will not benefit Louisiana, and most of all- don't be a corrupt swine with her head in the trough.
This is best done in a debate, or at least at a live event. All we have from her is boilerplate tv commercials that everyone runs. No substance

That's because she has none.

Well it's a small thing I guess, but I'll say this much. I signed up on her website and requested a yard sign several times since the primary was over. No one from her campaign has attempted to contact me. I'd probably give a modest donation if I could just get a sign. But absolutely nothing in response to my inquires. When I did the same in the primary with Fleming, I had a sign in my yard in two days.
I'm still going to vote for her. But I'm just not impressed or enthusiastic....at all.

Strongly agree. Unsurprisingly when she’s outed as either useless or terrible people will act shocked.
It’s a shame how this state continues to hurt itself by not doing its due diligence on candidates and just blindly electing because of R or D by a name.
Republicans feel to embolden to just trot out trash cause they know they’ll get away with it. Democrats don’t even give the state any attention cause they know it’s a losing effort from the jump.
A political candidate won’t save this state ever but especially not now. People here will continue to vote for corruption that they don’t even benefit from. That goes for both sides of the aisle.
