He’s right about it being a corrupt tax code. Why he’s coming to his decisions is how it’s corrupt

If those billionaires would gather in a thoughtful way to end these locusts called politicians maybe we could get this debt problem solved
Posted on 3/3/26 at 1:54 pm to Major Dutch Schaefer
They could take every cent from all 938 of those billionaires and it wouldn’t change a thing. They would waste it all. It wouldn’t even cover government spending for a year. Probably not even 6 months.

Okay, you give 3 grand to people one time. What will they do with the money? During covid they used the money to take off from work, further weakening an already weak economy and causing more inflation.
A lot of right wingers were cheering Trump's $2,000 per person "tariff dividend." This is the back side of the same coin.

Wrong. This is typical projection. Leftist must walk in lock-step. Not republicans. I will never be for more taxes on the rich. Especially when not everyone has some skin in the game.

That's an idea.
Strange thing about free money. When you give it away, you can't control what they recipient does with it. If I give a $20 bill to a crack head in the WalMart parking lot, it does no good to have the guy promise to spend it only on milk for the baby. He's going to spend it on crack and no one can stop him.
Free money is bad economic policy. The last president whose administration that gave me free money was Trump. I didn't want or need it then. Don't need or want it now.

Bernie was against the millionaires until he became one.
In spite of never working in his life.

These frickers actually think that billionaires have all their money sitting in a bank account and they can just write checks? How do we elect people more that freaking stupid to be our “leaders?”

What would have more support is a real program like DOGE that would make all governmental spending transparent to the people paying for it. This would lead to better spending and much less need for taxation.

Must be vote buying season.

Absolutely effing not. It's a money grab for votes, plain and simple.

Notice how the millionaires draw the tax line at billionaire.

BS.
Take every Congressman and Senator, look at all their assets on the day they went into congress. Add their pay to the current date, subtract assets and pay from they have now. Then take every dime they robbed from the population. Example: This puts Bernie Sanders in his cave he lived before he went to the Senate. Puts Pelosi into four flavors of Ice Cream. Puts Crocket back into her $19,000 a year salary.

It would drop to $ 1 million before you could blink your eyes.

When you realize that AOC & Crockett, for only 2 loonies, support this, that's all any sane person needs to know. And, yea, safe to assume billionaires have most of their assets in property, etc, not cash in the bank.
