I wonder what the reaction would have been from the MSM if 2 NASCAR drivers made the same video about Obama?

I think we ALL know the answer.

Immediate protest,call for boycotts,going after sponsors,etc.

Well, that's pretty much been the NBA since the 80's. Right now, there are just a lot of players playing at a really high level night in and night out.

It has to do with the accuracy (or inaccuracy) of those statements, and the size of the audience being swayed by them.

Well whether Trump cares about the people or not and to what degree is literally impossible to objectively measure. And the indirect evidence (lawsuits, Trump University, Pretending to be part of a charity for a photo OP, etc.) seems to point to a person closer to absolute narcissism than absolute altruism--at the very least it makes the opinion "he doesn't care" one that can't be dismissed as any more inaccurate than the opposite opinion.

So are you going call out the accuracy of those who make the opposite claim, even though it's no more objectively verifiable nor indirectly supportable?

I would guess no since your posts have devolved to presenting views more like cptbengal's than the extemely unique and well-supported views you presented in the past.

So parties to an argument are snowflakes now? Snow flakes used to refer to whiners who needed and set up safe spaces while providing trigger warnings.

It didn't lead her show and she spent very little time on it.

The melt from the MSM is what brought attention to the matter.

Snowflakes are ones that melt when somebody presents an opposing view. Like the melt that we are seeing from trumpflake Ingram.

Publicly whining about each other's opinions and misrepresenting them seems snowflaky to me.

LeBron is such a whiny bitch! The problem with most of these celebrities is they surround themselves with nothing but yes people so they are actually deluded into thinking the general public cares about and wants to hear their shitty opinions.

I don't really care about the feud and this is the first I've even heard about it

But it does amuse me that anyone listens to LeBron or Kevin Durant. I mean honestly speaking I think it would be accurate to say that in the last 10 years I have never been in a room of people where LeBron and Durant wouldn't have been the two stupidest ones there if they arrived.

If they are ever correct it's by accident

I don’t agree with Lebron, but what exactly makes her more qualified to share her opinion than him?

Lost , of course is the essential truth that Lebron / ESPN are peddling Racial Grievance . Laura is absolutely correct to take a run at them as it’s hilarious on its face, and that’s her job- to comment on the absurdities of American life. Not to mention that ESPN/ Lebrons race- centric Identity Politics are the antithesis of the American ideal on race and citizenship.

It’s not just that we all can scoff and laugh at Lebron for imagining that he is somehow a victim when he is in fact among the top 5000 most pampered and adored humans to have ever lived on planet Earth , it’s that he lacks the self- awareness to see how absurd he is when he wraps himself in the cloak of black victim hood. Yeah, no.

The NBA is basically pop culture today. It's heavily reliant on marginal high school grads having twitter beefs and dating a Kardashian.

Or maybe he's using the platform he has to speak for those that don't have that same pampered life.

Because unfortunately blacks (all ages)grown arse men look up to him. It's a sad society that a man that has been pampered and coddled since he was 14 (high school age) and a millionaire since he was 18 has had to deal with so much trama in his life.
