Waste of attorneys fees to fight a recall election that has 0.0% chance of success.

One thing is for sure, Orleans Parish has a ton of voter rolls that SHOULD be cleaned up, but won’t sue to laziness, incompetence, and partisan individuals.

Well she doesn't have anyone decent representing her. It appears as if her attorney has had issues with the Bar and the handling of client money. Everything about her is corrupt.

She’s going to end up taking other people down with her if this gets to trial IMHO.

The Ardoin deal with the recall petitioners dealt with people on the rolls who shouldn’t have been there.

Does she want to try and defend leaving dead people, convicted felons, and people who reside elsewhere on the rolls?

I know those are her constituents but she’s going to end up getting a lot of the “vote harvesters” caught if this gets looked at closer.

I 100 percent promise you she is getting inside info from the RoV.

By filing lawsuit today, this is telling everyone that the petition has the numbers to work, especially with the lower threshhold.

Otherwise, she would just let the petition fail.

Most people act differently in court vs in news conferences.

My guess is that her court case will simply say that the SoS can't just artifically lower the number.

If there are really 25K fewer voters, then 25K people need to actually be moved to the inactive rolls, and further, that should have happened before last August.

She's going to try to win on a technicality.

I dont know exact numbers off the top of my head, but covid did kill some people and i bet none of them are off the rolls.

She’s dumb. They knew this would be her move. They have enough even without the new number.

She's mad that Wilson has an agreement with Ardoin to hold out of the final count 5,000 names identified as illegitimate, which will lower the percentage of signatures the recall people will need - minimally.

But this number is a pittance considering what's been going on here for decades.

The added insult?

The 5,000 that are merely being held out of the count for this recall will be placed back on the rolls for future elections.

In a city conscientious about staying within the bounds of the law and ethics, the total of names that should be held out, and then removed permanently later is over 70,000.

Ardoin knows this, but he's frantic about just the prospects of getting more involved in this and being seen publicly dictating to Wilson or anybody else here.

Anybody sort of recognize the futility and waste of time it is to bother with voting here.

His feet need to be held to the fire on this. What else has he done for the state other than being useless? The one time that he’s actually called on to do something, he just turns tail and runs.

It was either Wisconsin or Michigan where the repubs had to sue to remove dead or moved people from the voter roles and lost
