If this level of accuracy was accomplished by Neptunes, the Ukrainians have improved their targeting functions greatly.

This was inevitable. The Ukrainians are being given a smorgasbord of the best missile technology in the world by every western power, including us. They'd be fools not to open up a Patriot or Storm Shadow or whatever and not copy and steal from them.

Yes, if these reports coming in now are accurate, the Flamingos seem to have solved their targeting issues.

A series of videos showing a barrage of attacks on the port of Mariupol. Air defense has taken the day off. Again.

Kinetic sanctions at work...

Andrii Klymenko, editor-in-chief of BlackSeaNews:

Regarding the impact of Ukrainian strikes on Tuapse: 50 days without tanker traffic.

We can state with confidence that the last tanker departures from the port took place on April 1, April 4, and April 17, 2026. Since then, and up to the present moment, no tanker voyages have been recorded for a period of 50 days.

Yesterday [April 20], Russian authorities reported that the fire at Tuapse was extinguished.

Ukrainian Defense Forces took note of that and remedied the situation.

Want to actually try to address what I said?

You won't, because it's true.

But I guess the truth when it doesn't paint Ukraine as some comic book type hero is Russian sympathy. Nevermind me calling Russians low IQ, saying Putin should be killed, calling them the aggressor and the cause of the war, etc etc etc.

You Ukraine cheerleaders who can't accept anything being said against them truly are some of the biggest turbofaggots on this site

He is 100% correct. This is nothing but wide open territory without even a bush to hide behind. The only reason that Russia put any troops there is because when they had nothing there, Ukraine raided and occupied it for a month or so, That was a few years ago. It threatened the east bank of the Dnipro River from the south should Ukraine send reinforcements.

Vol, agreed, the topography of that area is a major factor in Russia's inability to maintain control there.

I thought this was a good read.

https://www.twz.com/news-features/inside-ukraines-ai-enabled-drone-campaign-targeting-russian-logistics-deep-behind-the-lines

quote:

Over the past several weeks, news began emerging about Ukraine’s use of modified, AI-enhanced kamikaze drones to target Russian cargo trucks, fuel tankers, railroad cars and even vessels as far as 150 miles behind the front lines. Dubbed the mid-range strike campaign by Kyiv, this effort is having a devastating effect on Russian logistics, cutting off key highways to Crimea, helping to halt Moscow’s gains and pave the way for Ukrainian advances.

To learn more about this campaign, we reached out to one of the soldiers leading this effort from the unit that created it. In an exclusive interview, an Unmanned Systems Department Officer for the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine offered us unique insights into how the program began, how it’s going, where it is headed and how AI is helping to identify and hit targets deep behind the lines. It’s a capability we described in great detail — about how it was rapidly gestating and would arrive on the battlefield around now. The officer spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss operational details.

The best thing that has happened for Ukraine that caused a shift in the last few months was shutting off Russian access to Starlink. That wasn't Ukraine outsmarting anyone.

It's not a silver bullet situation

It's a combination of innovations and solid strategic decisions that's turning the tide of the war. The Starlink thing is just one element in an overall tapestry of advantages that Ukraine is pressing.

In another year Ukraine will exceed Germany's $50 billion of total armaments production. That's up from $5 billion at the beginning of the war.

By 2028 Ukraine will be a net arms Exporter. And the Pentagon will be one of its biggest customers.

We will soon be buying autonomous systems from Ukraine that exceed the capability of anything we manufacture here, and for a fraction of the cost.

You have to give them credit for outsmarting someone. Namely Raytheon, Boeing, and many others
