The projectiles fired from those cartridges perform the same as any other rifle cartridges; there’s no magic tumbling effect to explain lethality or penetration. They are small, light projectiles going extremely fast.

Ehhh I disagree here. Then they would just argue it was pre-meditated and that he was going there with the intention of killing someone.

This is basic court/law shite. They will try to twist facts in what ever way to get a guilty verdict. Got to remember they are not worried about "the truth" they are worried about "their truth". They just want that conviction %.

The rounds don't matter .....BECAUSE KYLE DID NOT LOAD THE RIFLE!

This is a poor excuse for a Prosecutor .... Ask those questions before you get him on the stand.

The prosecution is going to lose that jury getting all hung-up on full metal jackets and hollow points and what they do to deer. That was stupid if I was on the jury

I'll say it again, if there is one hunter on that jury, the prosecutor is making a huge mistake. This being Wisconsin, it's very likely there is one.

Yeah - all true - the prosecution is going to make some nonsensical argument either way -

it is just more in line with 'being armed for self defense' to have actual ammo specifically designed for self defense loaded.

No problem with the kid'd decision to have the FMJs in the real world - that's what I'd have done under similar circumstance = use what you have.

If possible, I'd try to have the HPs - but that's just my personal opinion - not based on being tried for murder afterward.

I don't even know if there will be protests once he's acquitted at this point. May set up outside the ADA'S office.

100% I agree. Whether FMJ or HP they will twist it.
FMJ- Muh mass shooter can pass thru multiple people or thru masonary/cars.
HP- Muh pre meditated, intended to kill someone going there.

This is why I also do not believe KR is this ignorant on the subject. He was coached by his legal team to play stupid so the prosecution couldn't twist it into a "gotcha".

Testified the gun was already loaded when he picked it up = bad enough.

but to not know if a round was chambered or not is a bad thing.

Trying to show him as irresponsible. It does as a gun person.

In another way..it shows he didn’t go out and prep to kill.

Should have just said he didn’t remember.

Kenosha went to Trump in 2016 (Biden in 2020... how?)... so there has to be at least 1 baw/bawette on the jury

There won’t. It’s mid November in Wisconsin.

which is what you'd actually want for self defense.

Having FMJ is a bad thing for defense.

pretty marginal - but the only bright spot I can see for the prosecution.

Not really ammo is in shite supply now very much so then. You don’t find soft points or hollow points on the shelf much during the best of times much less mean times. Police don’t use hollow points neither does the military so that is a dumb take.
